Bank & Slater Office building in Ottawa combines high efficiency large floor plate and sustainable design, making it eligible for LEED Silver certification.
Several initial concepts were considered for this site. The final concept relates to the existing context and embraces existing historical building on the corner, creating positive interaction between existing and new.
Light clear glass and aluminum curtain-wall facade runs along Bank St. and stone clad volume is located on Slater St. Transparent link in the form of glazed atrium connects the development to the existing office building on Slater St.
